Hey Scott, What have you been up to lately? Is there enough snow yet or what? Haha
Hey, I have been enjoying the off season spending time with my friends and family and enjoying this amazing old fashioned Canadian Winter. Although I have not had my leg over a bike in a while I have been taking advantage of all the snow and riding my sled as well as taking interest in the film scene on YouTube!

Yeah, I see you got another video out…Which I must say is pretty sick. Tell some of the readers about your YouTube Channel.
Well, I have just recently taken interest in creating action sports short films and posting them on YouTube for the world to watch and enjoy. As of this moment all the videos on my channel are mostly Sled vids with a little bit of variety. Although they are pretty cool to watch my main objective is to get more moto videos up because that is more of my style. I like to think I can ride sleds but I still consider myself a bit of a goon when it comes to the snow lol.

Haha Nice! Talking about bikes…how did your year of racing go as far as the Monster Energy Pro Nationals and small club races?
Well, I’d like to tell you that my year went as planned. With a bit of toss and turn on what class to race, what races to go to, and what nationals I was attending I was a little unorganized which then lead to a lot of frustration. All that aside, I’m going to look at it as a learning curve in my career and a great experience. I sure did learn a lot and with the help of Mike when I needed an opinion or an answer to something I was unsure of he was always there. Gopher Dunes was a highlight for sure when I cam out of the day with a 19th in the first moto and a 14th in the second. It’s a total different story in the pro class. Everyone is fast, fit and wants to win as much as the other guy. There is a big mental factor that comes into play and I’m working on a method to over come that when it comes to race day.

Yeah man, very good job at GD…one of the hardest tracks in

the series! So what do you plan on doing as far as bikes, sponsors and nations for the 2011 race season?
As of right now, I’ll be riding all the local races when I return from down south. I plan to race the Ontario Provincials and all the Eastern Nationals. I will be on a Suzuki RMZ 450 in the MX1 pro class and will be riding for Strictly Mx.

That’s what I like to hear…I think Strictly Mx has a great program going this year and should be great eh? What separates Mike and Strictly Motocross from others?
Yes I agree it’s awesome to see what he has put together and how he is really contributing back to our sport. What separates StrictlyMX at the race track is the friendly, but yet professional track side support for everyone from beginner to pro. The knowledge and experience that Mike has gained throughout his years as a factory mechanic is outstanding and there is very few people at the track that can relate. I personally have been lucky enough to have the chance to work 1 on 1 with him and have only showed improvement in a positive direction.

Very True! How many years have you personally been riding and does it run in the family or is it just something you have picked up on your own?
When I was 7 my dad brought me home a PW and my mom lost it and thought it was too dangerous and made him take it back! Lol.. I wasn’t too happy at all. It wasn’t till the following year when my dad managed to somehow convince her to let me keep it. That’s where it all started. From there I went on to putting in as much seat time as I possibly could. When I was 9 I did my first race aboard a KTM 65 at Walton. I think I placed 6th in a complete mud race. Kyle Stephens lapped me twice! My parents have no idea how I turned out to take such an interest in extreme sports! My father is a sales man and my mom, well she worries every time I leave the house. As an only child I have learned to keep myself motivated and always self entertained.

Sweet! Couple quick questions for you before I head out. Give me your Favourite bike, Favourite track and Favourite rider.
Bike- My RMZ 450…I’m in love!
Track- Auburn Hills
Rider- Tyler Medaglia…He’s super fast and can kill the slow wheelie contest!

Alright thanks a lot for the time Scott. Anyone you want to thank for your progress so far in your career?
Ya, I really owe it to my Mom and Dad, they have went way out of there way to help me live the dream and to bring me to the level where I am at now. I’d also like to thank Strictly Motocross, Factory Connection, Hull Gully, Motovan, PhatMX, Wrex, The Freeman’s, and all of my friends and family. Thanks for everything.
